Student Exchange
We believe that children are our future and have continued to sponsor a student exchange program since 1993.
Every other year, students and a chaperone from Fremont County stay in Valdai for eight to ten weeks. Then the next year, students and a chaperone from Valdai live in Fremont County for the same amount of time.
This program is designed so that our children learn about the other community and creat international friendships. All funds for this program are raised locally.
In 2012, 4 students from Valdai will be in Fremont County in April. Our plans are to celebrate our 20th anniversary by featuring our exchange students on a float in the Blossom Parade.
